how to get rus language for this plugin or translate?
Hi,
The plugin is setup for localisation so it is possible to make local language translations. Unfortunately no one has made a translation into Russian yet.
If you are happy to create the translation file, that would be fantastic. Here is information on how to translate in WordPress:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Translating_WordPress
If you do, it would be great to include it into further updates of the plugin for other who wish to use the plugin in Russian.

Alex
On My site the Telephone icon email and address icons are vertical and not horizontal like yours?
Are there settings? Fantastic looking Plugin!
Hi,
Looks like a clash with jQuery with another plugin. Send me your URL and I will see if I can investigate further.

Alex
The Url is http://www.jmcworkwear.co.uk not finished yet….but its up
Hi,
Just had a look. The jQuery-ui script is being replaced with the Google script rather than using the standard WordPress script. Replacing this script is not recommended by WordPress as it can lead to compatibility issues.
I believe it is this script which is causing your compatibility issues. It is either another plugin or the theme which is doing this. I suggest you disable all plugins apart from “Business Contact Widget” and see if that sorts out the problem. If it does re activate each plugin in turn till you have worked out the plugin with the issues. If it doesn’t then it is probably due to the theme in which case some tweaking will need to be done.
Let me know what you discover….
Alex
I have done the above and con not see a plugin that is causing the issue, however when I change to a standard theme the plugin works fine…..?
Can you help?
Fantastic work!!!!
The update works a treat, thanks for taking the time to rectify!
Great, glad to hear that the update has resolved your issue.
Please take the time to review on the plugin on WordPress, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Alex

Cant thank you enough

Unfortunately the compatibility issues is to do with the theme.
Can you email me the functions.php file for the theme? You should be able to find it in the theme directory.
Email me through the contact page at the top of the website.

Alex
Hi,
I really need the URL of your website to assist you.
It will be something to do with the CSS display element. It should be inline.

Alex

I’m using twentyten theme btw
Hi,
Sorry to hear you are having difficulties with the plugin – especially with teh twenty ten theme.
Have you tried disabling jQuery from the options menu? Go to setting and then business contact widget. Please follow the troubleshooting points at the bottom of the option page and let me know how you get on.
Can you send your URL so I can see the plugin functioning incorrectly, useful to remove bugs for other people.
Let me know how it goes.

Alex
Hi, I have an issue where the widget is taller on some pages than others based on the main content,The widget streches out in the side bar to match the length of the page. Long Blue space between the Icons and the info it presents, ie; the “@” icon and the envelope Icon or Clock Icon and the bottom where the info is displayed such as the address or email address….. Pleas see http://www.anchorautoglass.com/ for an example of how I would like it to be on every page and http://www.anchorautoglass.com/auto-glass where the behavior is not what I would like. Is there a way to make it default to just one size on every page?
Thanks,
Rick
Hi,
Sorry to hear you are having problems with the widget. There is some CSS from your theme interfering with the widget
Please add the following CSS into your website. You should be able to add custom CSS through your theme’s settings, otherwise install and custom CSS plugin.
.business-contact .ui-tabs-nav {
height: 39px;
}
This should sort the issue out.

Alex
Dear Alex, I have installed your plugin on my website, and have added the code you suggested to add in custom css in the support comments, however, it still does not appear correctly. I’m using ‘discoverpro’ template and here is the website: http://www.im4tb.org. Could you pls help me ? thanks. Laurence
Laurance,
Sorry, this comment slipped past me – I only just realised I didn’t respond.
When the plugin doesn’t show up correctly (i.e. the contact details are not displaying in tabs) it is usually due to a plugin or your theme not loading query correctly. My recommendation is to play around with the turning off the loading of jquery, query tabs etc which can be dome from the plugin admin area.
I hope that helps.
Regards,
Alex
Hi Alex,
We installed your plugin on our web site http://www.lkcomputers.com but we are having problem with it because it is not showing any information like email, address or map. Could you please help us with this problem? Thank you
Hi,
The issues is due to a jQuery conflict. The theme you use doesn’t load jQuery correctly which causes the conflict. I recommend you ask the theme author to load jQuery correctly so you don’t have issues with other plugins.
To try and get around this issue please go to the setting page in the WordPress back end. Then go to troubleshooting. Try disabling jQuery from the checklist and see if that works. Try different combinations of jQuery and jQuery UI etc.
I hope this manages to solve the issues.

Alex
Would love to see the phone number be “clickable” on a mobile device
Hi,
Love this idea – I will look into it 🙂
Alex
Hello. Trying to use the plugin on site, looks pretty good everywhere except iPad, where emails are breaking left sidebar layout. Here’ link where you can see. Any help solving appreciated. Using latest WP version, Customizr theme. Thanks!
Hi,
I don’t think you put the link. However my blind suggestion would be to decrease the size of the email link text. You can do this by adding the custom CSS below:
.business-contact .bcw-tabs #bcw-email a {
font-size: 0.6em;
}
The default is 0.9em, so 0.6em might work. Try larger and smaller values until you are happy.
I hope that helps,
Alex
Hi Alex, thanks for the reply. I tried your custom css but the email’s look too small on desktop, laptop if I keep sizing down. Here’s the link so you can have a look.
http://communicarets.com
Let me know if you have any other suggestions. Also, I will need custom css to reduce size of phone numbers as well so they don’t look bigger than email addresses if I go that route.
Thanks!
Will
Hi,
I can’t find the widget on the link you have sent me, which page is it on?
It the text is now appearing too small then try larger numbers than 0.6em, say 0.75em, 0.875em…
For the telephone number use the code below.
.business-contact .bcw-tabs #bcw-telephone p {
font-size: 0.6em;
}

Alex
I am having a ton of problems with my woocommerce. When your plugin is enabled, my add to cart buttons dissapear on all browsers FOR ALL VARIABLE PRODUCTS but it BLOCKS FANCY PRODUCT BUILDER FROM LOADING. As soon as I diasble your plugin, Fancy Product Builder will load, but the add to cart buttons are not there. I can’t get around this. Your plugin seems to be interrupting important javascripts from running. I would delete the Business Contact Widget plugin if it helped, I am afraid that my add to cart buttons wont show up once I do that. Not sure how this is even possible. I am using Bootstrap theme. Here is my page that is having the issue.
http://www.iconicdisc.com/shop/iconic-disc/?start_customizing=yes
Please help.
Hi,
Sorry for the slow reply, I’ve been away on holiday.
I have had a look at the page which has the problems. I notice that there are three Javascript errors, two connected to Google Font and one connected to WooCommerce. I’m afraid as none of the error are from our plugin I cannot assist to resolve those issues. I would make sure you have the most up to date version of the theme and WooCommerce plugin.
However, I did notice that many of the Javacsripts are loaded multiple times, I would look at what is causing this multiple loading of the Javascripts at this could be the root of the issue.
add-to-cart-variation.js – 3 times
bootstrap.js – 2 times
jquery.js 2 times
along with many others….
I hope that helps, let me know if you have anymore questions.
Regards,
Alex
I have been using this plugin for over a year and just realized while in Chrome’s developer tools there are two warning messages:
Google Maps API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys
util.js:218 Google Maps API warning: SensorNotRequired https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#sensor-not-required
I do not use any other plugin to display maps aside of this one. I am using your plugin as a widget in my Footer 1. https://saltwater-fishing-charters.com. I have a API key and when i insert the script below the iframe it makes errors saying the API is loaded twice, so i removed it.
Any advice? Thanks.
